Reformat...

So, it's been a million years since I've posted, and I'm considering a reformat of this blog.  Historically, I've merely blogged about what was going on in my life and random opinions about certain current events, movies, music and books. While that's all well and great, I've happened upon a couple of blogs about baking that I've particularily liked, and I'm considering making this blog about my various baking projects.  Perhaps I can even drum up some random baking business.  With the holidays coming up, I can forsee some wonderful baked goods materializing.  First, I've been asked to make a birthday cake for my friends' daughter's birthday party.  I'm considering doing a display of birthday cupcakes, since cupcakes are super trendy right now.  This way I can also make some "adult" cupcakes for the parents.  The daughter requested like a lemon strawberry type situation, so I'll see what I can figure out for that.  For the adults, I've found a couple recipes that I might monkey with.  I found a recipe for red wine cupcakes with a cream cheese frosting.  Also, I've found a matcha green tea cupcake recipe, with matcha green tea frosting.  I thought that it might be good with a citrus frosting, or maybe a citrus cupcake with green tea frosting.  In any case, stay tuned for my culinary adventures.
